Chiltern Open Air Meseum, Buckinghamshire

Experience lower and working class Georgian life with a variety of rural activities including the past time of straw plaiting, sewing and cooking in Leagrave Cottage over an open fire and in their 18th Century oven.  We will also have our Victorian Friends in the Tollhouse on the Sunday and Monday, brining the Tollhouse to life with Victorian daily life.

Join the Mannered Mob at Berrington Hall to learn about how the gentry of Georgian society spent their leisure time, how Georgian children played and expressed themselves, as well as hear about Berrington Halls Georgian origins.  This is a fantastic way to spend your Easter as a family!

Fairfax House explore Kill or Cure: Living and Dying with the Georgians.

Mannered Mob bring Fairfax House to life through demonstrating various pursuits and pastimes which may have been enjoyed in a house like this, whilst talking to you about Georgian houshold cures and  remedies.

'Oh how the Georgians loved to gamble!'  Join the Mannered Mob at Berrington Hall for a day of gambling and cards.  Georgian society of all classes enjoyed betting, and not just at card games, so why not come and learn the art of gambling with us?
