Welcome to the Mannered Mob!

The Mannered Mob are a society of re-enactors specialising in the portrayal of civilian life between the years 1730 and 1760 representing all levels of society from high to low.

Our members are men and women of all ages with wide-ranging interests and expertise. Together we portray a variety of period crafts, trades, skills and professions, from the handicrafts of genteel ladies to the work of servants and labourers, but most of all we love to share our enthusiasm for all things 18th Century.

Registered re-enactment providers to the National Trust, our members come from all parts of the country and we undertake events nationwide.

We pride ourselves on our ability to deliver high-quality living history events, tailored to the requirements of each sponsor. We portray men and women in all stations of 18th Century life, from the wealthy gentry to the roadside vagabond, demonstrating many of the smaller details of everyday living, from the clothes people wore to the essential matters of work and play.
